CSBC Corporation Taiwan and The Hai Long Offshore wind farm signed the memorandum

On 23 Aug, 2017, CSBC Corporation Taiwan and The Hai Long Offshore wind farm signed the memorandum, which means CSBS Corporation Taiwan moves into offshore wind industry. They will be responsible for subsea infrastructure construction, transportation & installation and offshore substation construction, and it plans to begin to supply power in the year of 2021.
The Hai Long Offshore wind farm, founded by Northland Power and Yushan Energy, is committed to gaining the development right of No. 18 & No. 19 wind farm off Changhua coast. The budget of this two wind farms is RMB 120 billion. The wind farms will be developed at the end of this year after environmental assessments, be designed next year, be built in the year of 2019, be installed in 2020 and can start to supply power in the year of 2021.
( Enterprize Energy and Canada’s Northland Power Inc have launched development of an offshore wind farm project in the Taiwan Strait in 2016. The Hai Long Offshore wind farm is a joint venture between Yuanshan Energy, the wholly owned operating subsidiary of Enterprize Energy, and Northland Power owning 40% and 60% of the project, respectively. )
Taiwan government plans to complete 520MW by the year of 2020 and 3GW offshore wind energy policy by the year of 2025.
CSBC Corporation said, for participating in the offshore wind business actively, they will integrate resource, introduce foreign investment and transfer technology to prepared a marine engineering company, subsea foundation company and work ship company by the end of this year or early next year. The three companies will serve for offshore wind farm  construction in Taiwan.
